You like the book, and use it by pointing your browser to one of its web sites. You want to send a token of thanks to the author. The fact that you took the trouble to send me $25, tells me more than one thousand words. Appreciated! Receive updated versions on disk six times/year Having the handbook on your harddisk is the most efficient way of using it as a daily navigation resource. You can store this version on your harddisk to read it with your Internet browser offline, or when you are connected to the Internet. This is fast! The option excels if you also use tools like the AltaVista Discovery to index local web pages on your disk. If you save the handbook in a disk directory called TOW, then simply search the handbook using Discovery and search commands like the following +location:TOW +[search term1] Replace "[search term]" with the word or name you are looking for. For example, use "+location:TOW +agora" to find all chapter in which the name "Agora" appears. Click at the hits on the resulting list of pages, and browse them to find the name Agora highlighted for easy reference. Previously, the handbook was optionally distributed in ascii format. This is not included any more as converting html to ascii has become so easy, for example using tools like the MS-DOS freeware program VIEWHTML (click here to download - just 76 KB) Delivery
