How does it work? Your computer connects to the network
via a modem using the PPP protocol.

PersonalIP is a service which provides full dial-up access from
a single personal computer. The client is supplied with a static
(permanent) IP address which is routed in the Internet. It allows
him/her to use all kinds of interactive applications avai lable
on the net. Since you acquire an unique permanent IP address you
can connect only to the node where you have registered. The service
is perfect for identification and authentication of IP addresses.
