INDUSTRIAL DESIGN


The form of the examining is testing (formal and material). The Industrial design have the term of functioning 10 years with the right of continuation three times for 5 years - Totally 25 years;

The minimum of obligatory documents and data for immediate filing, receiving a date of a priority:

- identification data of the Applicant: name, living place/office, origin, address, phone, fax, telex, sex, age;
- a declaration for the authors of the Industrial designs and identification data for them;
- name of the Industrial designs;
- a picture of the Industrial design, showed by a photo of one or more views, a scheme is also acceptable;
- a declaration of the priority claim;

Obligatory documents, which have to be sent to the Patent Department in 3 months for legal application:

- a document, signed by an authorised governmental office, proving the priority claim;
- an Attorney power form after a sample, signed for the Industrial property Representative and for the special object of protection;

Note: All documents You could send at the beginning by fax or telex but later it is obligatory to be sent by mail, so that to be received before the three-months term is over, considering it from the date of filing the application in the Patent Department.
