Appendix - The Present Simple Tense

 
Positive Form:

All forms of the Present Simple Tense with exception of the 3rd person singular are equal to the Infinitive. Add -s to the Infinitive in 3rd person singular.

Interrogative-Positive Form:

To form a question in the Present Simple Tense add Do (Does in 3rd person singular) before the subject.

Negative Form:

The negative form of the Present Simple Tense is made by adding do not (does not in 3rd person singular) between the subject and the main verb.

Contracted Negative Form:

The contracted negative form is made by adding don't (doesn't in 3rd person singular) between the subject and the main verb.
